I've already included their other two releases (both on Limp) int he discography, and it would be petty to leave this one out on a technicality. |

Tore Out My Heart // Drugging Out 50 on black vinyl with sleeves 450 on black vinyl without sleeves RGV-001, 1981 Lineup: Miles Courson - vocals / Ric Herbst - bass, vocals / Ron Rodgers - guitar / Rob Windsor - guitar, vocals / Vic Quick - drums (Hi, Vic!) Label Notes: Anyone wanna tell me what RGV is short for? Recording Info: Recorded at Track Recorders. Produced by The Tools and Greg Vazzi. Notes: Only fifty or so sleeves were made--a stash was uncovered a couple years ago that included about a dozen sleeved copies, so a higher proportion than you might expect are circulating among collectors. Reviews: The main riff for Tore Out My Heart is lifted straight from the Pistols' Pretty Vacant. It's not monster power-chord punk-o-rama, however. It's got a rootsy, early rockabilly vibe to it. B side is funkier, but still in the same vein. Too retro (both '77 and '55) for my taste. |
