I think Iron Cross actually did another record, but I can't remember who/what it was. Recording Info: Recorded at: Sound Heights, NY, Jan. 1977 / Sound Box, VA, Feb. - May 1977 / Twain, NJ, May 1977. Engineered by William Murray (Sound Box), Questar (Sound Heights). Produced by Solomon Spector, Kim Kane, Ken Kaiser. Notes: I read the 2000 figure somewhere. It's certainly plausible. Sleeve construction is very shoddy, and most copies suffer from massive splits on all three closed sides (their second LP suffered from similar, though less dramatic, problems). Most copies came with a blue insert. Mine came with a white 8.5x11 insert that reads like a press release. Reviews: |

Once in the Wild / Golden Days / Forever and a Day / Circus Earth // So Far / How Many Roads / Virgins + Dust / All I Want to Do black vinyl Stronghold SH1001, 1987 Lineup: Glenn Kellner - vocals, guitars, acoustic guitar, bass / Rob Dresing - vocals, bass, acoustic guitar / Chip Goodall - drums, percussion, backing vocals / Karyn Kellner - keyboard, vocals Label notes: Recording Info: Produced and engineered by Eric Copeland. Co-produced by Glenn Kellner. Notes: Reviews: I knew this was bad just from the band name. Art Frontier. It really says it all. Terrible "progressive" new wave band fronted by a guy who can't sing and his wife? sister? playing keyboards. Really pretentious, awful garbage. Highly recommended. My copy comes with a promo insert from 1989 or so that says the band had just finished recording their second album and were busy shopping it around. Anyone know if it was actually released? |
